Bethel Size: For this competition it is for the number of daughters competing.
SMALL Bethel will consist of 2 to 7 daughters participating.
LARGE Bethel will consist of 8 or more daughters participating.

Category: Each Bethel must select one of the following:
Exactly A Like OR
Almost A Like

Theme: Each Bethel must select only one theme from the categories listed below:
Formal / Evening dress – formal or semi-formal can be long or tea length.
Short dress – a dress that could be worn to a Bethel meeting and / or Church.
Casual wear – can be shorts, jeans, t-shirts, etc. This would be items worn when
representing Job’s Daughters on a fun outing.
Miscellaneous – This could be pajamas, uniforms, or anything different from above – be
creative. Please NO bathing suits. However it must be Jobie appropriate!

Rules:
Each Bethel may compete in only ONE (1) category.
The outfits may be either purchased or handmade as long as they are appropriate and
uniformed.
Exactly A Like category will be judged based on:
o Uniformity – same pattern, material, color of material and distance from the floor, if
accessories are worn – they must also match.
o Neatness and appearance.
o Appropriate style for the age group.
Almost A Like category will be judged based on:
o Neatness and appearance.
o Appropriate style for the age group.
o Clever use of pattern or color to achieve the “Almost A Like” design.
No underwear is to be showing!
No mid-drifts and no cleavage.

Script: The supplied script is to explain the outfit. It can include why your Bethel chose the
outfit, any underlying symbolism, etc. If the narrator is pause while reading, please use [Pause]
to note.

If your Bethel would like music played while modeling, it will be the Bethel’s responsibility to
supply the music and something to play it on, as well as someone responsible for hitting the
“Play” button.

Registration form and script MUST be turned in when Bethel arrives at the Swartz Gym on
Thursday for 2012 Grand Session. Chairperson, Susan Roenker, will be on site to collect forms.

2012 Dress-a-like Competition Registration

( no pre-registration required)

- The dimensions of the banner are to be
Three (3) feet wide- five(5) feet long  OR
Five (5) feet wide- three (3) feet long

- Each banner will be judged for it’s creativity, imagination and how
it applies to the theme.

-  This year’s theme is “Keeping Job’s Daughters in Your heart.”

The Banners will be dropped off at the Gym starting at 1 PM on
Thursday July 12th and removed by 1 PM on Sat., July 14th.

Please send me a list of the girls participating from your Bethels and their “talent” so that I can create a schedule.  I will also need to know how many daughters and adults are attending by May 16 to be sure there is enough food and ice cream.

Tasha shared about her close friend, Vannah, whom she met at Leadership in 2007. She described why Vannah’s sisterhood was important to her, and encouraged the girls to cherish their new friendships, lesson learned, skills obtained, and memories made.
